The Lake Hillsdale Golf Rules and Regulations’ were established is to keep our patrons save and to offer the most enjoyable golfing experience we can within our budget.

The following rules have been established to achieve this goal:
We have divided our rules / guidelines into eight (8) sections for quick reference.

1. General Golf Course Rules

All persons on or about golf course premises assume all risk of injury/loss to themselves or personal property and assume all liability to others for their acts.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the golf course or clubhouse, and to cancel playing privileges at any time due to breaching of rules.
Gross misconduct can result in removal from the facility property by Pearl River Sheriffs Department and will be subject to suspension of access to facility. (abusive language toward golf course staff or other patrons, deliberate disregard for rules, any form of fighting, playing golf without paying applicable fees, all are examples of, but not limited to, gross misconduct)
Each Player must have a receipt from the golf shop unless otherwise approved by the Facility Manager.
Each player must have their own bag and clubs (Rental sets are available on a first come / first served basis).
No more than four (4) players will be permitted to play in the same group at any time.
Facility Managers may approve fivesomes for outings that will not share golf course with daily fee play.
Golf Staff reserves the right to pair up golfers whenever possible.
Holes must be played in order.
The Golf Staff reserves the right to alter the starting hole or tee off format.
Playing more than one golf ball per person is not permitted on the golf course.
Pets are not permitted on the golf course, driving range or practice areas.

2. Tee Time Reservations

Ensure your visit starts out enjoyable by scheduling a tee time reservation prior to your arrival.
Tee times can be made up to 30-Days in advance. When booking online at www.lakehillsdalegolf.com Website. Tee times made 2 to 30 days in advance must be prepaid and are non-refundable unless the course is closed due to weather.
Phone calls for Tee Times may be made 7-Days in advance at Lake Hillsdale Golf Course.
Single golfers may reserve tee times when there is availability to pair them up with another group.
Single golfers may also wait on a stand-by basis. While we cannot guarantee and opening, we will insert a single into a group with a no-show when available.
An individual golfer may only book up to 4 Tee Times (16 players) at a time and groups of more than 16 require approval from the Facility Manager.
On Weekends and Holiday Mornings (March-November) only 18-hole reservations will be accepted unless 9-Hole rounds have been made available by the Facility Manager.
All golfers are asked to arrive a minimum of 20 minutes before their tee time to ensure ample time to check in and prepare for their round.

3. Age Restrictions

Junior golfers are those ages 17 and younger.
Children under the age of ten (10) must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult. Senior golfer rate benefits begin at age 62.

4. Golf Cart Rental

Players must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to rent a golf cart, either as a player or spectator.
Players aged 16 & 17 may drive a golf cart when accompanied by a player at least eighteen (18) years of age.
As a condition of being permitted to use an assigned golf car renter agrees to return the assigned car immediately following the completion of play, in the same condition as received. Normal wear is excepted.
If the assigned car is not satisfactory, it is the renter’s responsibility to refuse its use.
The renter is responsible for and will agree to pay for all damage to the assigned car and all damage or injuries caused by the renter’s use and operation of the golf cart.
Renter promises and agrees to hold Lake Hillsdale Golf free and harmless from any damage claims whatsoever which may arise from or through use or operation of the assigned golf cart.
Renter agrees to be familiar with the operation of the assigned cart and have the ability to operate and control the assigned cart.
Any guest observed operating a golf cart in an unsafe / careless manner may have the golf cart confiscated and future rentals denied.

5. Golf Cart Rules

Two Riders Maximum are permitted in a golf cart.
Please remain seated while the golf cart is in motion.
Please keep your hands, feet, and head inside the vehicle at all times.
Power carts must be kept at least 30 feet from the greens at all times.
The golf staff will inform golfers of the golf car rules of the day upon arrival.
Please keep golf carts on paths on all Par 3 holes.
If you are unaware of the golf cart rule of the day, please default to driving on paths.
Avoid driving in standing water or potentially wet low-lying areas.
Do not drive golf carts in native areas (no-mow areas) at any time.
Any golfer found to be adjusting golf cars components in any manner will be asked to leave immediately (No refund)

6. Personal Coolers

7. Etiquette / Pace of Play

Shirts must be worn at all times.
Golf or Athletic Shoes must be worn at all times (no cleats or boots).
Replace divots, repair ball marks and rake sand bunkers.
Play “Ready Golf” – On average, a foursome should play each hole in 14 minutes and is the player’s responsibility.
Keep pace with the group ahead of you. If a gap forms between your group and the group ahead, allow faster groups to play through.
Play your shot as soon as it is safe to do so.
Mark scores down on the next tee
18-Hole players should limit their time while making the turn.

8. Adverse Weather

(Includes but Not Limited to Lightning and High Winds)
In the event of adverse weather:
EACH PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THEIR OWN SAFETY.
USGA Adverse Weather Recommendations have been displayed in the clubhouse, on golf cars and on the golf course for your reference. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these safety measures.
On-Course Shelters are only intended for use in light rain, not lightning or high winds, and are to be used by golf course users at their own risk.
No new golfers will be checked-in or sent onto to the golf course or practice facility.
IT IS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT ADVERSE WEATHER IS A SEVERE HAZARD THAT MUST BE VIEWED SERIOUSLY.

9. Restroom Usage

Please refrain from Urinating and Number 2 on the course. A restroom in the clubhouse is available for golfers use.

10 Practice Golf Balls will be assigned and all balls must be returned. Charge for unreturned balls.
Personal Driving Range is priced on a timed basis. $5 for 15 minutes. Maximum of 3 users per fee please.
