- Golf Spikes are not required, but recommended to help our greens improve aeration.

Golf Course Rules & Regulations
- The Lake Hillsdale Golf Rules and Regulations’ were established to keep our patrons safe and to offer the most enjoyable golfing experience we can within our budget.
The following rules have been established to achieve this goal:

1. General Golf Course Rules
- All persons on or about golf course premises assume all risk of injury/loss to themselves or personal property and assume all liability to others for their acts.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to the golf course or clubhouse, and to cancel playing privileges at any time due to breaching of rules.
- Gross misconduct can result in removal from the facility property by Pearl River Sheriffs Department and will be subject to suspension of access to facility. (abusive language toward golf course staff or other patrons, deliberate disregard for rules, any form of fighting, playing golf without paying applicable fees, all are examples of, but not limited to, gross misconduct)
2. Age Restrictions
- Junior golfers are those ages 17 and younger.
- Children under the age of ten (10) must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult. Senior golfer rate benefits begin at age 62.
3. Golf Cart Rental
- Players must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to rent a golf cart.
- Players aged 16 & 17 may drive a golf cart when accompanied by a player at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- As a condition of being permitted to use an assigned golf cart renter agrees to return the assigned car immediately following the completion of play, in the same condition as received. Normal wear is excepted.
- If the assigned cart is not satisfactory, it is the renter’s responsibility to refuse its use.
- The renter is responsible for and will agree to pay for all damage to the assigned cart and all damage or injuries caused by the renter’s use and operation of the golf cart.
- Renter promises and agrees to hold Lake Hillsdale Golf free and harmless from any damage claims whatsoever which may arise from or through use or operation of the assigned golf cart.
- Renter agrees to be familiar with the operation of the assigned cart and have the ability to operate and control the assigned cart.
- Any guest observed operating a golf cart in an unsafe / careless manner may have the golf cart confiscated and future rentals denied.
4. Golf Cart Rules
- Two Riders Maximum are permitted in a golf cart.
- Please remain seated while the golf cart is in motion.
- Please keep your hands, feet, and head inside the vehicle at all times.
- Power carts must be kept at least 30 feet from the greens at all times.
- Please keep golf carts on paths on all Par 3 holes.
- Please default to driving on paths.
- Avoid driving in standing water or potentially wet low-lying areas.
- Any golfer found to be adjusting golf carts components in any manner will be asked to leave immediately (No refund)
5. Personal Coolers
- Golfers are permitted to bring personal coolers onto the golf courses.
6. Etiquette / Pace of Play
- Shirts must be worn at all times.
- Golf or Athletic Shoes must be worn at all times.
- Replace divots, repair ball marks and rake sand bunkers.
- Play “Ready Golf” – On average, a foursome should play each hole in 14 minutes and is the player’s responsibility.
- Keep pace with the group ahead of you. If a gap forms between your group and the group ahead, allow faster groups to play through.
- Play your shot as soon as it is safe to do so.
7. Adverse Weather
- (Includes but Not Limited to Lightning and High Winds)
In the event of adverse weather: - EACH PERSON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THEIR OWN SAFETY. Clubhouse is only intended for use in light rain. If lightning or high winds are present please use golf course at their own risk.
- No new golfers will be checked-in or sent onto to the golf course or practice facility.
- IT IS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT ADVERSE WEATHER IS A SEVERE HAZARD THAT MUST BE VIEWED SERIOUSLY.
8. Restroom Usage
Please refrain from Urinating on the course. A restroom in the clubhouse is available for golfers use.
